Build Home for a Family

The poor in Haiti are fortunate if they have a home. Typically several family and extended family members live in small one room shanties with a dirt floor that turns into mud when it rains, and have no beds, no furniture, no kitchen, no toilet and no running water.

Through generous donations and kind hearts, Healing Haiti has built homes for needy families in the mountains of LesPinasse/Dante and Titanyen.

A new modest home provides dignity, a healthier living environment, privacy, comfort and hope to these poor families.

A response to our plea for help...Marie Alice and her son, Bobito, who lived in the prayer cabin now have a home.

Many houses in Haiti consist of one small room. Family and extended family members take turns sleeping on the floor or learn to sleep standing up.

A man builds his house in Cite Soleil with bits and pieces of wood and tin. This type of house is typical for the poor in Haiti.
